Doctor Hakan Doganay recommends that on the first day of the surgery the patient should rest and the next the fist wash is done by nurses. Depantol lotion is applied to both receipt and transplanted area and stays on the head for 45 min. After 45 min, with worm water the head washed as nurses taught. In the same way, the patient can wash the hair himself 2-3 times in a day. In 8-10 days the scrubs should to gone completely. After the scrubs are gone, the patient can wash his/her hair in normal way before the surgery but still should be careful for transplanted hair.
Usually, in the 20th day shock loss starts and lasts till 45th day. After 3th or 4th month the loss grafts start to re-grow. In the end of 4th month, re-grow rate is %30 and in the 6th month re-grow rate is %60. In the 12th month hairs are re-grow in the range %85-%95 for most people.
Beard can be shaved after a week if beard grafts are used as donor. After the surgery red spots are gone in 15-20 days for Asian, however, this red spots’ invisible process may take 2 month for white Western. Donor area is usually healed in a month. In the case, there are small bump in the donor patient should apply tooth brush.
